Holiday and free times were looming on THEIR horizon the past week. But not mine. I was compelled to go OVERTIME. In school-related activities though. The only comforting thing is that: it would be spent outside the school premises. :)
090210: 2010 DIVISION TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL PAPER ADVISERS AND CAMPUS JOURNALISTS. Five of the pioneering staff of The Lamplighter attended the 2010 Division Training Workshop for School Paper Advisers and Campus Journalists last September 2 - 4, 2010 held at Honorato C. Perez Sr. Memorial Science High School. - Being the *ehem!* EIC of the Basic Education’s newspaper, it is my duty to enhance my skills in writing so I could lead my staffers in putting up the very first edition of the newspaper! :) Yay! So this it was the first day, registration .. opening programs .. and lectures - of course. I was like, “Sige na nga, mag-e-editorial ako!”.
- MAIN REASON: Kasi nga Editor-In-Chief ako.
- And then after the lecture, we were ushered to the Physics Laboratory to do the Writeshop No. 01 ( *yeah! unfortunately, Writeshop No. 02 exists! :|) We were given FACTSHEETS to be used as a basis in writing the editorial. *We had a lot of fun saying, ‘FACTSHEET’.” It was about the Integration of Elementary Computer Education.
“I would post my written output here BUT not now. I am kinda busy.” -Louise :)Judgment Time: As a part of the workshops, outputs were to be criticized by the lecturer.*groans* Fast Forward. The lecturer for Editorial Writing, Mr. Ariel Lansang, said he was disappointed because out of 8 English Editorial Writers only ONE passed his standards. Then he was like, siya ay si Kim Louise German from M..ano ‘to U or V..?MUGFCI? Clark shouted, MVGFCI po! He then focused his attention to our group. Nasan si Kim?, he asked. I raised my hand. Then *for heaven’s sake!* he read my output. Aloud. * to be edited *
- 090310: *Happy Birthday Kuya Mark :)* It’s Friday.
- 090410: I wasn’t at HCPSMSHS. I was at the Central Luzon State University for the 16th Regional Inter-School Quiz Bee with Ate Aiyah ( Maria Theresa Magsalin of IV-Narra ) , Norveleette Cajucom of II- Sampaguita and Mrs. Feliza Rabac. Panic raised to the 44th power! *Brain-wrecking questions. Lah!* And after we got eliminated, we just stopped by to wait for Mang Felix.
Baka namasada pa si Mang Felix. We joked since it was almost an hour and a half that we had been waiting for him. :)
- On the way home, dumaan kami sa house nila Sir Enyong. Which took us hours before being discovered! Lah! Slept on the way home.
